About Molly Kaplan

Molly lives above a pet shop and a stationary store and couldn’t tell you what either are called. She edits out a lot of what’s around her. That’s how she gets from point a to point b.

She makes media to filter back in the bits between points. In that otherwise lost information are the clues about how to take responsibility and relate to what’s around us.

In sum, Molly is a multimedia artist. She’s working on a video project about Red Hook, Brooklyn and produces web videos for organizations like the London School of Economics. She has also worked on media policy initiatives for a think tank in Washington, managed at New York’s Gramercy Tavern, and studied olives in Africa and Europe on a Watson Fellowship.
